Activity output is grouped by command run with its outcome and duration, making long Git operations easier to follow. Long output uses a virtualized view, and each streamed event stays associated with its repository.
History loads fully once before the first History tab open and reuses that data, reducing duplicate loading. Commit details also handle roots, renames, copies, binary files, unusual paths, and empty commits.
Fixes
Stage and Stage All now exclude submodules that Githead cannot stage, preventing invalid staging requests. Large file selections also stage with fewer repeated path scans.
With reduced motion enabled, hover highlights now appear immediately instead of using a residual transition.
Internal changes
Diff previews rerender less often when rows and hunk actions remain unchanged, improving responsiveness.
Activity logs avoid repeated scans, and diff processing skips unused highlighting, reducing work on large output.
Git blame reads less command output while preserving metadata across repeated commit groups and renamed paths.
Submodule status checks query only configured and discovered paths, reducing work in repositories with many submodules.
