AeroNotch 1.0.0-beta.1 — first public beta

The first beta for live engineers: a zero-latency feedback suppressor with fixed notches for the room, live notches for the show, and a fader for every notch so the operator always has the final say.

Windows 10/11 (64-bit): VST3 plugin and Standalone app. macOS and Linux builds are in testing.

Install

• VST3: unzip AeroNotch-1.0.0-beta.1-Windows-VST3.zip, copy the AeroNotch.vst3 folder to C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\, and rescan plugins in your host.
• Standalone: unzip AeroNotch-1.0.0-beta.1-Windows-Standalone.zip and run AeroNotch.exe. Its input starts muted to avoid a feedback loop; unmute it under Options > Audio/MIDI Settings once your setup is safe.
• No extra runtime or installer needed. If you tried an earlier internal build called Nullwatch, remove Nullwatch.vst3 first.

New

• 16 notch filters: 8 fixed (ring-out) and 8 live (show), with unused fixed slots lending themselves to live.
• 1/48-octave live notches (about 14 Hz wide at 1 kHz), adjustable from 1/5 to 1/80 octave.
• "Testing the water" release: a live notch holds, eases back slowly, and snaps straight back if the frequency rings again.
• A fader for every notch, with mouse or keyboard (arrow keys, Delete, L to lock). Lift a notch and AeroNotch pulls it back if the room rings again.
• No-notch zones (Shift-drag on the analyser), with a safety override for a genuine runaway howl.
• Lock badge for a frequency that keeps coming back.
• Real-time analyser: input spectrum, detection line and the exact notch response, plus a 1/48-octave band strip.
• Settings presets and venue presets (settings, ring-out and zones together).
• 0 samples of plugin latency; click-free bypass and trim; linked stereo.
• DEMO mode (Standalone only): a simulated room you can make howl on purpose, with output capped at -12 dBFS and a 20-second before/after WAV export.

Beta notes

• The 30-day limit is not enforced in this beta; licence activation arrives in a later beta.
