DUP: Duplicate of #295 - If I start typing in a fresh terminal, first keypress is duplicated

Describe the bug

Duplicated first character. Expected not to see duplicated first character.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce:

• Using zsh as my shell (zsh 5.8 (x86_64-apple-darwin19.6.0)
• Deleted ~/.zshrc and ~/.zshenv to have a clean slate
• In Warp, hit Ctrl-T
• Started typing right away.
• Input: cd . Input area now shows ccd

Expected behaviour

`cd ` only.
