FRIDAY is an extremely versatile, modular, and sophisticated desktop virtual assistant written in pure Python. Uses a plugin architecture where pretty much every part of the assistant is an individual component that can be written in any way as long as it plugs into the core assistant. The assistant runs on the terminal but can be made to run anywhere with a GUI or headless thanks to the plugins system.
Just like other virtual assistants, FRIDAY can fulfill your requests to check the weather, search for things, find places near you, remember things for you, and a lot more further extensible with the Skills system.
The name originates from the term "man/girl Friday", meaning go-to person and is heavily inspired by the replacement virtual assistant created by Tony Stark (Iron Man).
