Sayso is a voice dictation app for Mac. Press a key, speak, and the text lands in the app you are using. Speech-to-text runs on your Mac.

New in 0.2.0

  • Import from Pindrop. Bring your dictations (without audio), dictionary words, replacements, and prompt presets over from Pindrop. Find it in Settings › History and privacy, or in the last step of onboarding. Pindrop's files do not change.
  • History. The list has a scrollbar and a Back to top button. Copy, Enhance, Transcribe again, and Delete are in a menu on each entry.
  • Popover. The model and microphone lists open as submenus beside the menu bar popover, on hover or on a click.
  • Paste receipts. After a paste, Sayso sees whether the app actually read the text. If no app took it, Sayso knows the insert did not land.

Install

Download Sayso-0.2.0-macos-arm64.dmg below, open it, and drag Sayso to Applications. You can check the file against Sayso-0.2.0-macos-arm64.dmg.sha256.
