Can BetterDisplay show the control signals being sent to Mac's HDMI outout?

On my m4 Mac Mini, whose only display is an LG TV connected via a B&O Eclipse's HDMI, I have a single app which does something, when running in full screen, that causes the screen to go black and, in some cases, causes the color on the TV to be changed - lacking green I think - when I manage to get the screen to light up again. In order to investigate this I am looking a for a tool that can show me the control signals, if any, being sent over the HDMI connection. Can BetterDisplay show those signals?

By recording a screen video I have confirmed that the framebuffer has the correct, expected content leading me to believe the issue is related to HDMI output.

I am afraid the app can't help with this (it can't record/analyze live data that goes through the HDMI wire).
