How to fix Color mode resetting to a wrong setting after sleep?

I use BetterDisplay Pro 3.2.1 on macOS 15.3.1. There are two color profiles: (1) 8-bit RGB SDR and (2) 9-bit YCbCr. After my monitor sleeps, the software drops the settings from option 1 to option 2.

It's not the app doing it but macOS. You need to use the Configuration Protection menu for the display and turn on Color Mode so the app can act as a watchdog and fix the color mode whenever needed according to your preferences.
