Swift Rules v0.1.1

This release improves plugin interoperability, streamlines unit test workflows, standardizes CLI argument conventions, and distributes verified precompiled please_swift binaries.

Key Enhancements

  • Root Build Definition Forwarding: Added build_defs/BUILD forwarding :swift and :constants targets directly (///swift//build_defs:swift), matching the Kotlin and Rust plugin layout and simplifying consumption in downstream repositories.
  • Automatic Testing Support: swift_library now automatically compiles modules with -enable-testing by default, allowing @testable import in unit test targets without requiring rule properties. In optimized builds (-c opt), -enable-testing is cleanly omitted.
  • Standardized CLI Conventions: Standardized please_swift CLI usage text and flag descriptions across compile, binary, and testrunner subcommands to consistently use sources.
  • Compiler Flags Robustness: Resolved Please f-string quote lexing errors when passing custom compiler flags to swift_library, swift_binary, and swift_test.
  • Precompiled Binaries: Attached precompiled, hermetic please_swift binaries and checksum manifests for linux_amd64, linux_arm64, darwin_amd64, and darwin_arm64.
