@wcqxgjy6d8-pixel wcqxgjy6d8-pixel released this 08 Jul 12:57

VALP 0.2.0 is the first stable evaluation release of the Visible Agent Loop Protocol reference repository.

What is stable in this release:

  • Reference CLI version 0.2.0: publish, scan, route, dispatch, preflight, audit, and doctor.
  • Four bundled task examples pass valp audit.
  • JSON/JSONL examples validate against schemas.
  • Unit tests and example smoke checks pass on Linux, macOS, and Windows in GitHub Actions.
  • Public onboarding now includes a root Chinese README, a failure gallery, a runtime adapter checklist, and an RFC Discussion template.

Important limits:

  • VALP is not a hosted production platform.
  • Repository CI does not prove a live HERDR or non-HERDR runtime E2E on every machine.
  • Full Mode claims still require adapter submission proof, expected evidence, review/approval gates, and final synthesis.

Verification for this release:

  • scripts/verify-examples.sh passed locally.
  • GitHub Actions Verify VALP Examples passed for commit dae2096.
  • GitHub Pages build and deployment passed for the same commit.

@wcqxgjy6d8-pixel wcqxgjy6d8-pixel released this 06 Jul 15:58

VALP 0.2.0 draft is an open protocol draft plus a reference CLI for visible, evidence-backed multi-agent automation.

This prerelease gives evaluators a stable GitHub reference point. It is not a production hosted platform release.

Verified at release time:

  • scripts/verify-examples.sh passes locally.
  • GitHub Actions Verify VALP Examples passes on Linux, macOS, and Windows.
  • Bundled examples audit successfully with valp audit.

Highlights:

  • First-install health gate documentation and CLI checks.
  • Runtime-neutral adapter boundaries, including headless queue examples.
  • Approval-risk matching tightened for dry-run and smoke-test wording.
  • GitHub community onboarding, Discussions, issue templates, PR template, SUPPORT.md, and Dependabot configuration.

Known boundaries:

  • VALP is 0.2.0-draft.
  • HERDR is the current reference runtime, not a protocol dependency.
  • Full Mode still requires a compatible runtime adapter that exports receipts, evidence, status, review, and approval gates.
