OneLane 0.1.2

@webdevtodayjason webdevtodayjason released this 14 Sep 01:16

Installable from tiinyapp.farm.

The farm scans an archive before it will list it, and it refuses subprocess outright. 0.1.1 imported subprocess in the test suite and in the two-app example, so the catalog could not move off 0.1.0, which still assumes the gateway is on port 8800 and is refused by Tiiny 1.0.

Both now start their second process with multiprocessing, which is what they always wanted: a separate Python process holding its own file lock, not a command. The library itself is unchanged apart from the version, so nothing about how you use it moves.

Python standard library only. Copy onelane.py next to your code as before.

Works on Tiiny 1.0.

The AI gateway moved off port 8800 in 1.0.0, so OneLane asks the box which port serves it instead of assuming. The lock is named after the device serial now, so two boxes on one network do not share a lock, and it finds the device the same way the farm does rather than demanding an address.
