RufusMac 0.1.0 (Intel Mac)
RufusMac 0.1.0 — Intel Mac (x86_64)
Ready-to-run .dmg for Intel Macs, based on upstream h4rithd/RufusMac 0.1.0. Upstream targets Apple Silicon / macOS 26; this fork restores Intel and macOS 14/15.
Intel fork packaging, UI fallback, docs, and this release were reworked with Cursor. Upstream RufusMac was built with help from Claude Code.
Scope & maintenance
This is a best-effort fork. Support is not guaranteed. Tracking upstream and publishing newer Intel builds may lag or stop. Prefer upstream on Apple Silicon.

Requirements
- Intel (x86_64) Mac only — no Apple Silicon slice
- macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later (most Intel Macs on 15 are fine)
- Liquid Glass UI on macOS 26+; material fallback on 14/15
What’s in this release
- Forced x86_64-only packaging (
scripts/build_app.shrefuses fat/arm64) - Deployment floor 14.0; build still needs the macOS 26 SDK
- UI compatibility layer (
GlassCompatibility) for 14/15 - Full feature set from upstream 0.1.0 (Windows/Linux USB, Win11 bypass, catalog, dry-run,
rmctl, …)
Features (from upstream)
- Smart USB detection (external/removable only)
- Single ISO / DD / Multiboot (experimental) / Reclaim
- Windows 11 TPM / Secure Boot / online-account bypass
- Large
install.wim→.swmsplit - Checksums, ISO catalog, command preview / dry-run
rmctlCLI companion
Notes
- Windows / Multiboot may need third-party tools (
scripts/fetch_thirdparty.sh) if not bundled in your build - Prefer upstream on Apple Silicon
