Weblab help

Help index · Project overview

Start with installation, then build a small lab using the starter exercise. These pages describe the current workspace and its supported profiles.

User guide

  1. Installation and upgrades — Docker, native Linux, KVM and remote access.
  2. Images and device profiles — supported releases, ports, boot and saving.
  3. Topology and window arrangement — cabling, panels, zoom, fullscreen and tiling.
  4. Consoles — tabs, floating windows, mobile keys, clipboard and shared input locks.
  5. Instructions viewer — read Markdown/text exercises inside the workspace.
  6. Link failures — directional frame loss and supported carrier controls.
  7. Saving and restoring labs — JSON, configuration snippets, ZIP, logs and state precedence.
  8. Creating practice labs — topology JSON contract and authoring guidance.
  9. Troubleshooting — common setup, console, storage and networking issues.
  10. Supported scope and limitations — deployment boundaries and known gaps.

Prebuilt container images and EXOS demo provide an alternative to building locally, including a wired introductory topology and bundled EXOS image.
