Taglib-Exception with 1.4.5

I'm playing around with version 1.4.5, but I get an exception in the taglibs. As fare as I can see, the taglib uris are the same so I'm a little bit clueless where the problem is:

Hi Christian,

at first glance it seems to me that the struts-bean.tld is loaded and scanned, but the class org.apache.struts.taglib.bean.CookieTei could not be loaded or instantiated. So the dependency should be okay.
I assume that you used the same version for struts-tagblib and struts-core.
And I also assume that you used at least Java 8.

Maybe you could test, if you could instantiate the class org.apache.struts.taglib.bean.CookieTei directly in a routine.

Which version of tomcat are you using?

How looks your

• pom.xml
• web.xml
• jsp-file?

thanks for the quick reply. Indeed, the entry struts-tagblib was missing in the pom-xml. Now it works perfectly and without any problems. And I wonder why it ever worked without the entry with the original version.
