WebLiveHub Stream 1.1.0

This version simplifies WordPress setup and creating a reusable broadcaster or viewer page.

Changes

  • Save a Hosted Backend URL and connection identity together in a quick setup form.
  • Create an unpublished broadcaster or viewer page draft with a prefilled WebLiveHub block.
  • Choose a page purpose in the block editor and use clearer connection and broadcaster labels.
  • Reuse a single saved connection automatically; select the connection explicitly when several are saved.
  • Keep multi-connection settings and shortcode tools under Advanced settings and shortcodes.
  • Improve Traditional Chinese setup and editor text.

Compatibility and requirements

Existing saved settings, blocks and shortcodes remain supported. Leaving the password blank keeps the saved password for the same connection identity. The connection identity and public broadcaster ID remain separate fields.

Requires WordPress 6.0 or later and PHP 8.0 or later. The candidate was exercised on WordPress 6.9 and PHP 8.3; the minimum-version combination has not been exercised for this version. New strings in other supported languages may fall back to English.

Saving settings does not check backend connectivity. The Integration screen is not a dedicated connection test.

Source downloads and upgrading

This is a source-code release. GitHub provides automatic Source code (zip) and Source code (tar.gz) downloads for v1.1.0. There is no separately uploaded WordPress installation ZIP attached to this Release.

The automatic source archives use a GitHub-generated top-level folder and are different from the previously validated weblivehub-stream-1.1.0.zip installation package. This Release does not represent them as that installation package.

Before replacing plugin files, back up the current plugin and WordPress database, and verify existing settings and pages on a staging site. If needed, restore the backed-up plugin files and verify the saved settings and pages.
