First public release.

A thin, opinionated core for building AI agents in Go, designed the way the standard library is: small interfaces, context everywhere, functional options, wrapped errors, zero required configuration.

  • Message model — role + typed parts, round-tripping versioned JSON (ADR 0001)
  • Error model — tool error = data the model sees; run error = *RunError with the partial transcript (ADR 0002)
  • Tool contract — generic functions, JSON Schema reflected from struct tags, MCP-SDK-shaped (ADR 0003)
  • Agent loop — bounded-parallel tool fan-out, total event order (Seq), visible truncation (ADR 0004)
  • wefttest — scripted offline Model + shared provider conformance suite (ADR 0013)
  • Adapters (own modules, official vendor SDKs): OpenAI + compatible servers, Anthropic, Google Gemini

Pre-1.0: the API may still change; middleware seams and MCP interop come next. See the roadmap.
