What Operating System(s) are you seeing this problem on?
Windows
Which Wayland compositor or X11 Window manager(s) are you using?
No response
WezTerm version
wezterm 20240203-110809-5046fc22
Did you try the latest nightly build to see if the issue is better (or worse!) than your current version?
No, and I'll explain why below
Describe the bug
As a Windows user, I use scoop (one of the documented installation methods) to keep wezterm up to date. Unfortunately, I just realized that the latest stable version is from February 2024, i.e. over two years old now, and so my installed version lacks newer features and bug fixes.
The scoop bucket doesn't offer nightly builds, and I don't want to start managing wezterm updates by hand (or to use a different package manager). I suppose also that I'm not the only user to prefer stable releases over nightly builds.
So the request is simple: please make new stable releases once in a while (e.g. once a year or so). Thanks in advance, and thank you for creating this awesome terminal!
To Reproduce
No response
Configuration
> scoop update wezterm
wezterm: 20240203-110809-5046fc22 (latest version)
Latest versions for all apps are installed! For more information try 'scoop status'
Expected Behavior
I'd like to get less old version automatically.
