One-line install (no Gatekeeper warning):

curl -fsSL https://github.com/wheam/deepseek-harness-mac-app/releases/download/latest/install.sh | sh

The installer reuses an existing global dsh, or bootstraps Node.js/npm and installs one shared global CLI when needed. It verifies the archive SHA256, the complete app code signature, the bundle identifier, and the pinned release-certificate fingerprint before installing into /Applications (or ~/Applications if that isn't writable). Because it is not a browser download, the app carries no quarantine attribute.

Manual download: this build is signed with a pinned self-signed identity (no paid Apple Developer ID), so a browser download triggers Gatekeeper on first launch. To allow it:

  • macOS 15+: after the blocked first attempt, open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Security and click "Open Anyway", or
  • macOS 13/14: right-click (Ctrl-click) the app in Finder → Open, then confirm, or
  • run: xattr -cr "/Applications/DeepSeek Harness.app"

Removing the warning for browser downloads entirely requires an Apple Developer ID certificate + notarization. See the README for details.
