New — Integrator
AI payment for merchants. A merchant gets its own MCP storefront (POST https://apibase.pro/mcp/m/<slug>); a buyer's agent gets a quote and pays in USDC on one of two rails: x402 on Base or MPP on Tempo.
- Non-custodial.
pay_tois the merchant's payout wallet; APIbase never holds the money. - Fee: 0% during the pilot.
- Connect by agent or by hand. Merchant sign-up is a wallet signature plus acceptance of four versioned legal documents. Start at the overview or the agent guide.
- Catalog three ways. API, CSV import, or the WooCommerce plugin (
packages/woocommerce-apibase). - Quote, then pay over x402 (Base) or MPP (Tempo), with
payment-identifieridempotency. - End-to-end encrypted buyer data. Plaintext is rejected; data is purged after 7 days.
- Verified on-chain refunds and payer disputes with a 7-day window.
- Subscriptions. Tempo; on Base, pull by payer pre-authorization.
- Streaming sessions with a merchant-side settler CLI (
packages/stream-settler). - Signed webhooks plus event pull.
- Catalog moderation and a connection check (demo).
- Platform guides: WooCommerce, Shopify, Tilda, Wix, custom site.
- Live: demo shop, shop directory, machine-readable summary.
Legal documents v1.2 (merchant agreement, acceptable use, DPA, refund framework), accepted by wallet signature: index.
Verified with real money
Checked live with real USDC before release (verification journals, 2026-10-12):
- Connection. A fresh merchant was connected by an agent starting from an empty session in 2 min 45 s, and was paid $0.01 straight to its wallet.
- Buyer data. Encrypted flow with 0 leaks of the canary values; plaintext rejected.
- Refund. On-chain refund tx dce970e7b3e89f6aae325ad86486004ccb2ba69f73d356f3cf98d7d4e269d837.
- Base subscription. Period 1 paid,
payment-identifierreplay returned the same transaction (one confirmed payment), and the same id on another quote returnedpayment_identifier_conflict. - Tempo subscription. Periods 1 and 2 paid and fulfilled.
- WooCommerce. WooCommerce 11.2.1 on WordPress 7.1.3: plugin sync, then a $1 order paid on Base (tx fcf21ca6ac883f175814b7bfc63d273c1602f38f0300222f12630053078048b3), fulfilled by webhook, Woo order completed.
- Streaming session. Three 60 s chunks (cumulative $0.018), closed on-chain by the merchant's settler CLI (Tempo close tx cac2b6a5dc8dd8631445ded9c34c5cd86e569c11905712f6a1ec375ca8896c24); the CLI reported "pass: 1 reported, 0 failed" and the server marked the channel closed and verified. Two fixes made this pass: the close proof (T-0304) and the settler waiting for the receipt before reporting (T-0307).
Honest notes
- Defects found by the verification run and fixed in this release: close proof (T-0304), outbox events never marked processed and replayed to new webhook endpoints (T-0305), plugin compatibility headers (T-0306).
- Not measured: mobile layout at 390 px, PageSpeed, and the Coinbase Smart Wallet passkey path.
- Pilot scale: 2 merchants connected at release time (live count: integrator/llms.txt).
Also in this release
- Stream-close grace period shown on the buyers page,
/aboutpage with the AI-assisted content disclosure (T-0295, T-INT-31). - CodeQL alert fixes: non-string input guard, per-address rate limiter, comment stripping by scan (T-0286).
- Deploy lock refuses a held rejected commit in the deploy range (T-0289).
- English-only gate across the repository (T-ENGLISH-ONLY-A, T-ENGLISH-ONLY-B).
- Registration and payout change refuse platform wallets (T-0303).
