This if the first version to be released to Hex. Includes a relatively complete API which would likely be v1.0.0 candidate but for the lack of eyes.

It's marked as pre-release due to being a pre-v1.0.0 release, but it should be safe enough to use in production applications as long as you have unit tests around your usage.
