  2. Overlay Clashes: Modals, tooltips, dropdown menus, toast notifications, and sticky navigation headers collide unpredictably.
  3. Unmaintainable Layering: Without a centralized hierarchy, debugging stacking context bugs requires inspecting the entire DOM tree.
