Background playback survives closing the terminal, and foreground skips stop the previous track before switching. Help, version, and list work as commands, while unknown stations are rejected before a daemon starts.

Folder playback follows album, disc, and track tags, keeps compilations and directories together, and skips unreadable files. MP4 track and disc numbers above 255 are preserved. Doctor reports missing tools required by the default station, with complete installation guidance.
