Some models are deleted by civitai but are archived in civarchive, where those models' preview images, descriptions and trigger tags can be found.
I think if a model couldn't be found at civitai then civarchive can be considered for fetching model's information.
(It's easy to search for a model by sha256 manually: use https://civitaiarchive.com/sha256/THESHA256. Maybe it's helpful.)
