Centralized Sidecar Storage -- Optionally store .metadata.json sidecars and preview images in a single folder instead of alongside every model file, with built-in migration between the two layouts. Switch modes under Settings > Library > Sidecar Storage; in centralized mode the model modal can open a model's metadata file directly. (#1045)
-
Buzz Download Prices -- Show what paid and early access versions you do not own cost in Buzz, and update checks report versions that became free or newly paid. Enable it under Settings > Library.
-
Scan a Single Drive or Folder -- Refresh only what you need: scan a single model root from the Refresh menu, or a single folder from the sidebar folder menu, instead of re-checking the whole library. (#1108)
-
OpenModelDB for Upscalers -- Upscalers on the Other page fall back to the OpenModelDB catalogue for description, tags, license and example images when CivitAI has no record, and OpenModelDB pages can be pasted into the download dialog to download files. The lookup is on by default and can be turned off under Settings > Library. (#1135)
-
Recipe Workflows -- The new 'Save Recipe with Workflow' action on a LoRA node's context menu saves the current workflow together with the recipe, and imported recipes now recover the workflow embedded in the source image so it can be sent back to ComfyUI. Recipes that carry a workflow are marked with a badge and can be filtered with 'Has Workflow'.
-
Showcase Layout -- Example images in the model modal can now use the classic vertical list layout as an alternative to the one-at-a-time gallery. Switch under Settings > Interface or from a toggle inside the modal. (#1136)
-
Multi-Library Support Deprecated -- Users with more than one library configured now see a dismissible warning: multi-library support will be removed in an upcoming release, when all libraries' folder paths will be merged into one. Multiple folder roots within a single library remain fully supported.
Bug Fixes
- Disconnected drives no longer look deleted -- models on a switched-off drive stay in your library and are listed as offline instead of disappearing, the drive's path stays in your settings, reconnecting the drive makes it scannable again without a restart, and a metadata refresh skips offline drives instead of spending requests that cannot be saved. (#1108)
- A metadata file that cannot be written during a bulk fetch (for example the drive goes offline mid-run) is now reported as failed and retried on the next run, instead of being counted as fetched.
- Downloads for models whose base model CivitAI does not recognize yet (for example MiniMax H3) now go to the diffusion models folder instead of checkpoints, UNet-type downloads that previously failed now work, and the fallback can be changed under Settings > Library. (#1132)
- Civitai download and API links are no longer mistaken for model pages, and a missing model now explains the likely cause (a version ID used instead of the model ID, a removed or access-restricted model, or a missing Civitai API key) instead of a bare error. (#1140)
- Versions CivitAI keeps locked without an end date no longer appear free, so 'Hide Early Access Updates' filters them and the download payment warning shows. (#1060)
- A model that ends up "lost" after an interrupted or duplicate move is now found at its new location and repaired instead of erroring. (#1126)
- [LM Civitai Extension] Rate-limited queued downloads now wait out the cooldown and retry instead of failing.
- Folder delete and rename now handle folders that exist under more than one model root: choose which copies to act on, each copy is checked separately, and undo restores every deleted copy.
- The folder delete dialog now checks the folder's real contents, including excluded models and files added since the last scan, before you confirm, instead of failing after.
- The recipes storage folder no longer appears in folder management and can no longer be deleted or renamed from the sidebar, where an accidental click could previously wipe the recipe library.
- Refresh progress and speed -- drives on different disks are now scanned in parallel, and the progress dialog shows active drives, file counts and a remaining-time estimate instead of appearing stuck.
- The download modal can now switch a checkpoint download between Checkpoints and Diffusion Models when the automatic type detection is wrong.
- The model modal now shows Civitai model and version IDs with copy buttons, and searching by hash or Civitai ID no longer requires a search option.
- Example image downloads no longer permanently skip models after a transient failure or when metadata has not been fetched yet; those models are retried, and a metadata refresh re-enables them immediately.
- Importing example images now works for models on the Other page and for models whose hash is still pending, instead of failing with an error.
- Load Image Metadata -- the model name, sampler and scheduler outputs can now drive loader and sampler dropdowns (e.g. Load Checkpoint, KSampler). Queueing previously failed with a 'Return type mismatch between linked nodes' error.
- Saved images now record the checkpoint that was actually used with Set/Get model nodes and cached checkpoints, instead of a stale or missing name.
- 'Apply to Library Now' filename templates are now dramatically faster on large libraries and no longer block LoRA Manager while they run, even on slow drives.
- LoRA Manager nodes no longer get squashed into the left corner when clicked with ComfyUI's Properties Panel open. (#979)
