Self-improvement cycle 1: the v2.1.0 verifier was red-teamed by an independent adversarial audit; 3 real defects found and fixed under gate.

  • EVO-002: the spec's per-status evidence rules are now enforced symmetrically. A vague PENDING (no command) or WAIVED (no date) no longer passes as LEDGER CLEAN.
  • EVO-003: --catches is schema-gated like the ledger parser — a foreign table with an ISO date no longer reads as ALIVE.
  • The --self-test (now 14 cases) caught a regression in the patch itself during surgery; fixed before ship.

Independent Skeptic re-verified: PASS, no over-rejection, no new doc↔tool contradiction. Install: unzip into ~/.claude/skills/, then ledger_check.py --self-test (expect 14/14).
