0.7.2 — Queue cancellation and infantry rally fixes
Hold a unit icon to cancel that type's queue and refund credits spent on unfinished production (right-click on Mac). Completed units stay; other queued types continue.
Barracks infantry now wait for the exit mission to finish before moving to their rally point. This update also corrects terrain ordering around scorch marks, reduces texture-cache churn, and fills the Remastered top bar's black gap. The sidebar remains an adapted layout, not a full Collection UI recreation.
Verified: 27 host tests, iOS builds/signing, Universal 2 Mac package, and isolated Mac gameplay for infantry rally arrival and paid queue cancellation/refund. Physical touch and sustained performance still need user confirmation; this is a prerelease.
Public downloads exclude game data and extracted Remastered artwork. Supply your own assets locally. Source builds require the pinned submodules; Apple SDL changes are preserved in patches/SDL2-ipados.patch. See docs/REMASTERED-0.7.2.md. The two gameplay videos remain available on the v0.7.1 release and show the earlier preview.
v0.7.1 — Remastered UI, Queues & Rally Points
Remastered rendering now has matching Collection top-bar panels, faction emblems and sidebar control artwork, while retaining this port's control positions. Original graphics remain selectable. The renderer/importer source is included; extracted Collection artwork is not distributed.
This preview also restores green/red building-placement footprints above Remastered terrain, fixes sidebar clipping/production-mask corruption, adds unit production queues with counters, and adds separate infantry/vehicle rally points. Repeated unit-icon presses queue orders. The Orders panel can set rally destinations; on Mac, select a production building and click empty ground. Queues and rally destinations reset when loading or starting a mission.
Verified: 27 host tests, unsigned and signed iOS builds, Universal 2 Mac packaging, and isolated Mac gameplay checks for UI artwork, placement, queued tanks and a vehicle rally destination. Physical Duo/iPad regression and sustained performance remain pending. This is a prerelease, not a claim that every animation, unit path or multiplayer session has been validated.
The two attached Duo recordings are user-supplied footage of the earlier Remastered preview, including the graphical bugs addressed here. They are not recordings of this final build.
Public downloads contain no Collection/game-data payloads. Supply your own game data; the private Remastered pack must be imported locally. Build/import details and remaining coverage are in docs/REMASTERED-0.7.1.md. The source archive requires the pinned submodules (git submodule update --init --recursive when using a Git checkout); Apple SDL changes are preserved in patches/SDL2-ipados.patch.
v0.6.1 — Cloud Sync & Touch Refinements
Optional iCloud sync, portable backups and touch refinements for Tiberian Dawn.
- Separate save and settings/cheat sync switches under Saves / Mod Workshop → iCloud Sync. Defaults off. Saves stay local and incoming versions use free slots; settings apply on restart. Device zoom, UI scale, controls and icons remain local.
- Export/import saves, settings/cheats/Workshop configuration, or both.
- Slower pinch zoom, independent floating UI scaling, full-height sidebar, GDI/Nod mission selection and three app-icon choices.
- Military build unlock and damaged-building health display; persistent cheat choices and interruption recovery improvements.
- White unselected floating-menu tabs, Custom 1 initially selected when no preset choice exists, and a revised final drawing pass for unit labels.
Installation: update the existing app/container to retain saves. This public IPA is ad-hoc sealed for re-signing/LiveContainer and excludes original game data and personal provisioning profiles. Import compatible game data through the app. Automatic iCloud requires a matching iCloud-provisioned signature; it is available in the private developer-signed device build, not through the publisher's cloud identity in this public IPA. Manual Files backups remain available.
Validation: 26 host tests, backup round-trip/rollback tests, cloud key isolation and immutable queue tests, Apple parity checks, iOS compilation and developer signing, and Universal 2 macOS packaging passed. The user reported 0.6.0 zoom and icon changes working. Cross-device iCloud delivery, offline conflicts and the latest unit-label fix need physical confirmation; a successful build does not establish those results.
v0.5.6 — UI Size & Saved Preferences
v0.5.6 — UI Size & Saved Preferences
- UI size: new Options slider, − / + buttons in 5% steps, and Reset to 100%. Range: 75–150%. Scales the top bar, production sidebar, and floating menu independently of battlefield zoom and joystick size. Larger settings can show fewer production slots; scrolling remains available.
- Saved size profiles: separate portrait/landscape values and, when UIKit reports a Duo hinge, separate cover/inner values. macOS has the equivalent size slider in the Option-C panel.
- Device-aware zoom: standard iPhones and iPads show “Zoom.” Hinge detection on iOS 27.1+ enables Duo “Cover zoom” and “Inner zoom.” Existing zoom values seed the new standard profile; Duo keys are retained. Without hinge reporting, the standard profile is used.
- Saved cheats: toggles and infantry/vehicle/aircraft speed settings persist across missions and launches on both Apple targets. Queued money/power additions and mission balances are not reapplied to new missions. Existing player-only and single-player restrictions remain.
Validation
All 26 host tests, Apple parity checks, unsigned iOS Release compilation, and signed/verified Universal 2 macOS packaging passed. IPA ZIP integrity, bundle ID/version, unencrypted executable, and preserved icon/game resources were checked. This is not physical-device certification: test UI size at both ends of the range, touch alignment, LiveContainer hinge detection, and saved settings across rotations, folds, missions, and relaunches.
Install by replacing the app in its existing LiveContainer data container to preserve saves. Bundle ID remains com.wireproof.tiberiandawn.

LiveContainer and Duo hinge support
This app is built with the iOS 27.1 SDK; hinge detection requires iOS 27.1 or later and hinge updates reaching the hosted app through LiveContainer. That host behavior still needs physical-device verification. Without hinge updates, the app falls back to standard Zoom. Whether LiveContainer itself must be rebuilt with SDK 27.1 is unconfirmed.
For the Duo host, use Wireproof LiveContainer 3.8.11 + SideStore — Duo SDK 27.1. This custom LiveContainer host was rebuilt with SDK 27.1 and was reported to fix the Duo compatibility layout; the bundled SideStore was not rebuilt. Hinge forwarding to this game remains unverified. Update with the same signing account and app identity, preserving existing app data—do not uninstall first.
v0.5.5 — Saved Touch Control Layouts
v0.5.5 — Saved Touch Control Layouts
The joystick and floating controller now remember independent positions for cover portrait, cover landscape, inner portrait, and inner landscape. Relative positions follow the usable display area; existing positions seed new layouts, and a settling delay avoids saving temporary fold/rotation geometry.

The Duo recordings predate this release. The iPad Pro 11 showcase adds two recordings and 11 screenshots supplied October 26, 2026. Showcase footage does not comprehensively validate layout persistence or every feature. This documentation/showcase refresh does not change the v0.5.5 app binaries.
Validation and limits
All 26 host tests, Apple parity checks, iOS Release build, and signed/verified Universal 2 macOS build passed for this release. Physical Duo position switching and relaunch persistence still need device confirmation. This change concerns UIKit touch controls; Mac keyboard/controller behavior remains unchanged. macOS is ad-hoc signed, not notarized.
Replace the app in its existing LiveContainer data container to preserve saves. See the README for Workshop restrictions, credits, and licensing.
v0.5.4 — Adaptive Load Mission Menu
Fixes the cover-screen Load Mission layout shrinking back to a small classic menu. Front-end load/save dialogs now use the adaptive menu viewport and share the main menu’s proportional background and logo. Dialog width stays within narrow displays.
Validation: all 26 host tests, Apple parity checks, iOS Release build, and signed/verified Universal 2 macOS build. Physical cover-screen confirmation remains pending.

Replace the app in its existing LiveContainer data container to preserve saves.
v0.5.3 — Centered Cover Presentations
Centers credits, campaign maps, and movies across the full window width on Duo cover screens. Keeps the original aspect ratio and vertical letterboxing rather than stretching the image.
Validation: all 26 host tests, Apple parity checks, iOS Release build, and signed/verified Universal 2 macOS build passed. Physical cover-screen confirmation remains pending.
Gameplay showcase
Duo cover-screen gameplay (v0.5.2, 2:03 with audio). Duo inner-display Workshop demo (0:50 with audio). Duo inner-display gameplay (2:57 with audio). An iPad recording will be added when available.

v0.5.2 — Campaign screen and Duo zoom fixes
Fixes clipped mission scores and distorted campaign progression screens by leaving the adaptive battlefield viewport before scores, maps, endings and movies begin. Fixed 640×400 artwork fits the screen without cropping or stretching; battlefield controls hide during these presentations.
Also updates cover/inner zoom detection to use usable display geometry and reserved edge strips, with a short settling delay during fold/rotation. The slider now labels the active profile as Cover zoom or Inner zoom. Gameplay zoom preferences remain saved between missions.
Includes the corrected Tiberian Dawn app display name.
Validation: all 26 host tests, Apple parity checks, unsigned iOS Release build and signed/verified Universal 2 macOS build passed. Physical Duo transition and profile behavior still needs user confirmation.
Replace the app within its existing LiveContainer data container to preserve saves.

v0.5.1 — Duo display profiles and group gestures
- Airstrike now recharges with Instant Weapons.
- Group numbers: tap to select; hold to replace with the current selection; hold with nothing selected to clear. Removed the four group-mode buttons.
- Cover and inner displays remember separate zoom levels across rotations. Portrait presentation is slightly larger at 1.625×.
- Compact top-bar sections on narrow screens, with matching touch targets. Battlefield rendering fills the drawable area; floating controls still respect safe areas.
- New GDI emblem icon with transparent background.
Validation: all 26 host tests, Apple parity checks, unsigned iOS Release build, signed/verified Universal 2 macOS build. Duo runtime/visual confirmation remains pending.
Replace the app within the existing LiveContainer data container to preserve saves.
Metadata correction: the IPA was replaced to restore the Tiberian Dawn display name. Source fix: 14fe1ec . Re-download and replace the app if its name is blank, then recreate its shortcut.
v0.5.0 — Superweapon cheats and sidebar refinements
Adds Instant Weapons for the Ion Cannon and repeatable nuke, plus Build Anywhere, to the iOS and Mac single-player cheat menus. Weapons still require their normal buildings; placement still checks terrain and occupied space.
Portrait now uses five sidebar rows on every screen and a larger 1.5× presentation. Landscape paints the partial row above the sidebar arrows and groups Cheats into switches on the left, credits/power in the middle, money/power buttons on the right, and speed sliders along the bottom.
Validation: 26 host tests, Apple parity checks, unsigned iOS Release build, and signed/verified Universal 2 macOS build passed. Physical Duo visual/runtime validation remains pending.
Keep the existing LiveContainer app/data container when replacing the app to preserve saves. Cheat toggles reset on mission load.
