Beta release 0.2.2b.

Install: download MacAngioView.dmg, open it, drag MacAngioView onto the Applications shortcut. The image includes a plain-text Beta Testing Guide and the DICOM Conformance Statement (PDF).

What's new since 0.2.1b

  • Ultrasound loops (and other studies) stored with MPEG-2 / H.264 / HEVC video compression now decode and play
  • Enhanced XA studies open at their intended window/level instead of the full data range
  • Images with non-square pixels display in correct proportion
  • New "Compression" row in the Patient panel shows when frames are lossy-compressed (method and ratio)
  • The disk image now includes a DICOM Conformance Statement (PDF), and the Beta Testing Guide documents the playback controls

Playback controls

Key Action
Space Play / stop the current run
Right / Left arrow Step one frame while stopped; set play direction while playing
Up / Down arrow Raise / lower the playback frame rate
Tab / Shift-Tab Next / previous run in the thumbnail strip
Cmd+F / Cmd+Shift+F Open File… / Open Folder…
Cmd+C Copy the frame on screen (while stopped)

Drag a box on the image to zoom into that area; a single click clears the zoom.

Requires macOS 12 (Monterey) or later — Apple silicon or Intel.
