Standard Keep-a-Changelog post-release housekeeping: the Added / Changed / Verified / Fixed entries that accumulated since v2026.05.21 are now dated under the actual release tag v2026.05.21.1, and the comparison link references at the bottom are updated accordingly. The release asset CHANGELOG.md (inside the v2026.05.21.1 tarball) was tagged before this curation and still shows the older [Unreleased] structure. That's expected and matches how most upstream projects ship: tarball reflects the state at tag, main reflects the latest doc curation. Also lifted a few entries that the original [Unreleased] block hadn't captured explicitly (README badge/section additions, the misconfig comment-wording fix, the branch-protection tightening) so the historical section is complete.
