New Features

Xdebug support in local environments

Enable PHP step debugging, profiling, or tracing with a single flag:

qit env:up --xdebug              # Step debugging (default)
qit env:up --xdebug=profile      # Cachegrind profiling
qit env:up --xdebug=trace        # Function call tracing
qit env:up --xdebug=debug,develop # Combined modes

Xdebug is pre-installed in all runner images with mode=off (zero overhead). The --xdebug flag writes an ini override and restarts PHP-FPM — no compilation or network downloads needed.

Also configurable via qit.json:

The environment summary shows IDE path mappings and the output directory for cachegrind/trace files.
