What's new in 3.3
Context range slider
A new Context slider (±1–10 paragraphs, default ±2) appears in the paragraph navigation bar after clicking a search result. Drag it to widen or narrow how many surrounding paragraphs are shown around each match — useful for OCR documents with irregular spacing. The slider value persists across different result clicks within the same session.
Faster result clicks (lazy paragraph cache)
Paragraph text is now cached in memory the first time you click a result. Re-clicking the same result is instant — no database access needed.
Bug fix: highlight crash on wide context
Fixed an IndexError in the search-term highlighting logic that could occur when a match appeared at the very end of a displayed paragraph block (more likely with larger context windows).
