Android build of BattleTanx: Global Assault Recompiled, now up to date with PC version 0.1.5.
You need your own copy of the game: BattleTanx: Global Assault (USA) ROM (.z64, .v64 or .n64). The app contains no game data.

What's new

  • Cheats and Hacks tabs, same as PC 0.1.5.
  • Screen Filter (CRT, Scanlines, LCD) and Bloom options on the Graphics tab. Both are off by default.
  • No more slowdown during big explosions at higher framerates.
  • Fixed a crash at the end of some missions with the "All Tanks All Levels" code on.
  • Installs over 0.1.2, your ROM and settings stay. (should, if not you will have to uninstall this time)

Requirements

  • Android 9 or newer, 64-bit (arm64) device with Vulkan.
  • Tested on a Retroid Pocket 6. Other devices, especially non-Snapdragon (Mali) GPUs, are untested.

Known issues

  • The arrows over enemy tanks lag slightly behind at higher refresh rates.
  • Android's screen recorder breaks the picture.
  • The first time an effect appears after install it can stutter once; later sessions are smooth.
  • Mods are untested on Android.
