wb-browser-runtime 0.9.0
New announce_artifact verb + BROWSER_USE_PROFILE_ID env default. Pairs with wb v0.11.0 to surface labelled artifacts on the run-page timeline.
What's new
-
announce_artifact:verb — writes a<path>.meta.jsonsidecar alongside an artifact in$WB_ARTIFACTS_DIR. The nextArtifacts::sync()(shipped in wb v0.11.0) attaches{label, description}to thestep.artifact_savedcallback event so orchestrators render "📄 April HSBC statement" instead of "statement.csv" in the timeline.- save: path: statement.csv - announce_artifact: path: statement.csv label: "April HSBC statement" description: "Reconciled balance export"
Target artifact need not exist yet — pre-writing the sidecar is allowed. Path is validated to stay inside
$WB_ARTIFACTS_DIR. Atomic write via tmp + rename. -
BROWSER_USE_PROFILE_IDenv default — browser blocks that omitprofile_id:now fall back to theBROWSER_USE_PROFILE_IDenvironment variable. A per-runbookprofile_id:always wins over the env var.
Registry
SUPPORTS bumped to 13 verbs: goto, fill, click, press, wait_for, screenshot, extract, assert, eval, save, pause_for_human, wait_for_drop, announce_artifact.
Pairing
Requires wb v0.11.0 or later to see step.artifact_saved callbacks with the sidecar-supplied label/description. Older wb versions ignore the sidecar.
