This pull request introduces several improvements and new features to the public pages and design library components, focusing on expanding use-case routes, enhancing hero section flexibility, and refining content to better communicate the platform's value proposition. The most important changes are grouped below:

New Use Case Pages and Routing:

  • Added three new public-facing pages: OpenSourcePage, PrivateProjectsPage, and ServicePaymentsPage, each importing their respective components from the design library. These are now available as routes under /use-cases/open-source, /use-cases/private-projects, and /use-cases/service-payments in the public area router. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]

Design Library: New and Enhanced Components:

  • Introduced a new CardsHero component, including its styles and a Storybook story, to display role-based cards with actions and descriptions. This component is designed for flexibility and reusability in various parts of the public site. [1] [2] [3]
  • Enhanced existing hero components (CallToActionHero, SecondaryHero, SectionHero) to accept a withContrast prop, allowing toggling of background contrast for improved visual hierarchy and accessibility. [1] [2] [3] [4]
  • Adjusted typography in hero components for better consistency and readability (e.g., changed MainHero and SectionHero title variants). [1] [2]

Content Updates and Messaging Improvements:

  • Updated the content and messaging on the AboutPublicPage to more clearly articulate Gitpay's mission, focusing on connecting payments to deliverables, transparency, and work-centered flows. This includes changes to section content and item descriptions to better align with the platform's goals and audience. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7]
