Overview

Decky EnvTest is a debugging tool for Decky that logs game-specific details from Decky's SteamClient.Apps and extracts Heroic configuration data. This first release provides essential logging and data extraction capabilities, making it easier to analyze game environment details within Decky.

Installation

1. Install ZIP or from URL in Developer Settings from the GitHub Releases.
2. Let the install finish.
3. Restart Decky and access the plugin via the UI.

Usage

1. Open the Decky EnvTest plugin from Decky.
2. Select a game and click DEBUG: Log Game Data to fetch Steam data.
3. Click Pull Heroic Data to retrieve Heroic configurations (if applicable).
4. Use Export JSON to download the log data.

Known Issues

• 🔹 Some non-Steam games may not appear in the logged data.
• 🔹 Heroic data may be unavailable if the game is not configured in Heroic.

Future Improvements

• 📌 Support for additional game platforms.
• 📌 More filtering and search capabilities.
• 📌 UI enhancements for better readability.
