The first public release of Apple II Terminal for Codex.

Run the authenticated Codex CLI from an Apple IIgs, IIe, IIc, IIc Plus, II, or II Plus. The included CODEX.dsk boots the native IIgs and 8-bit clients from one DOS 3.3 disk image and works with FloppyEmu, emulators, and physical disks.

Highlights:

  • Native Codex model, directory, permissions, Working, and interruption UI
  • Authenticated Codex CLI backend with resumable turns and sandbox controls
  • WiModem phonebook entry 1 support with clear modem error reporting
  • Pairing, cancellation, process cleanup, and redacted bridge errors
  • Tested on physical Apple IIgs and IIc hardware, plus KEGS and MAME
