Unloader 0.2.0 enables automatic unloading on fresh installs with a 15-minute idle timer. Existing saved settings are preserved. The background scheduler starts with the browser and rebuilds its alarm on restart.

Includes a Next.js documentation website in website/, ready for Vercel with Root Directory website.

Downloads:

  • unloader-chromium.zip: Extract and use Load unpacked in Chrome/Brave Developer mode.
  • unloader-firefox-unsigned.zip: Firefox/Zen temporary development installation only. It does not persist after restart. Permanent Firefox/Zen installation requires a Mozilla-signed XPI, which will be added after signing.
  • unloader-review-source.zip: Reproducible extension source with Mozilla build instructions.

Verified: TypeScript, 20 unit tests, Firefox browser smoke checks, Firefox Developer Edition restart checks, and Next.js production build. Automatic tab protection, native discard/restore, website rules and keyboard shortcut checks passed.
