speckit v0.4.0

Structure refactor preparing for multi-domain expansion.

What changed

  • SKILL.md is now a router — common phases only, domain logic moved to domains/{domain}/instructions.md
  • domains/dev/ — all dev attributes + presets + instructions in one place
  • Legacy compatibility — v0.3.x attributes/ auto-detected, works without changes
  • Preset cascade — domain custom > global custom > domain default > global default (preserves your custom.json)
  • "Coming soon" domains — design, strategy, process detected but fallback to dev

Upgrade from v0.3.x

cd ~/.claude/skills/speckit && git pull

Your presets/custom.json is preserved. The skill auto-detects legacy structure and falls back gracefully.

What's next

v0.5.0: design domain (mood, layout, typography, color, hierarchy attributes)
