@wu-liang wu-liang released this 25 Sep 13:36

Speedtest Live v0.1.5 simplifies the history cards and network footer.

  • Extend download and upload charts across their cards, keeping the peak in the top-right corner.
  • Remove duplicate current-speed and sample-count labels from the history cards.
  • Remove the footer ISP label and place Internal IP at the left.

Download the ZIP and use Tinycast's Settings → Extensions → Add from folder to install the extracted extension folder.

Switches the client city lookup to IPinfo. The previous geolocation provider placed some KPN addresses in the wrong Dutch city. The city is still an IP-based estimate and may differ between providers.

The extension makes one best-effort HTTPS lookup per public IP during each test. The test continues and shows a dash for the city if the lookup fails. See the README for installation and network details.

Download tinycast-speedtest-live.zip, unzip it, and select the extracted folder in Tinycast Settings → Extensions → Add from folder. SHA256SUMS contains the ZIP checksum. Validation: 29 tests, TypeScript checks, and production build passed.

@wu-liang wu-liang released this 25 Sep 12:56

The left summary card now shows the client ISP and approximate city; the right card shows the selected test server's name and city. Ping remains in the middle. Missing locations display a dash, and long names stay within their cards.

The Ookla CLI provides ISP, server, and public IP data. To locate the client city, the extension makes one best-effort HTTPS request to ipwho.is for the CLI's public IP during each test. The speed test continues if that lookup fails.

Moves the peak speed to the upper-right corner of each download and upload history card. The current speed and sample count remain beside each chart.

Download tinycast-speedtest-live.zip, unzip it, and select the extracted folder in Tinycast Settings → Extensions → Add from folder. An existing Ookla Speedtest CLI is required; see the README.

SHA256SUMS contains the ZIP checksum. Validation: 21 tests, TypeScript checks, and production build passed.
