Floe 1.0.0

A refreshed menu bar manager for macOS, with English and Simplified Chinese interfaces.

Rebuilt packages · 2026-10-20

  • Rebuilt version 1.0.0 (2350) with the new pale-blue Floe icon and app/Dock icon cache fix.
  • Floe.zip, Floe.dmg and their checksums replace the previous 1.0.0 downloads.
  • Source for these rebuilt binaries: d6c7bb5 (source archive). The existing release tag is retained.

Highlights

  • Compact settings interface with dedicated General, Menu Bar Layout, Menu Bar Appearance, Hotkeys and Advanced pages.
  • Organize icons into Visible, Hidden and Always Hidden groups, with search, drag-and-drop, keyboard actions and immediate hover labels.
  • Choose Follow System, Light or Dark for Floe, with saved preferences across windows and the default floating bar.
  • Use horizontal icons, a names list or a grid in Floe Bar; reorder icons and pin its position per display.
  • Configure adaptive presentation based on displays, full-screen state and available menu bar space.
  • Refined light surfaces and cleaner monochrome floating-bar icons, plus the localized launch-at-login label.

Download and install

  • Floe.zip: extract and move Floe.app to Applications.
  • Floe.dmg: open the disk image and drag Floe.app into Applications.
  • SHA256SUMS.txt: SHA-256 checksums for both downloads.

Requires macOS 14 or later. This is a Universal build for Apple Silicon and Intel.

The app is ad-hoc signed and not notarized. If macOS blocks the first launch after downloading, remove the quarantine attribute and open it again:

xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Floe.app

Grant Floe Accessibility and Screen Recording in System Settings → Privacy & Security. After an update, review those grants if functionality is unavailable. Updates are installed manually from Releases.

  • 支持可见、隐藏、始终隐藏分组，以及搜索、拖拽、键盘操作和即时悬停名称提示。
  • 支持跟随系统、浅色、深色外观，保存选择并应用到各窗口与默认浮栏。
  • 浮栏支持横向图标、名称列表、网格、图标整理，以及按显示器固定位置。
  • 可根据屏幕、全屏状态和菜单栏可用空间设置自适应呈现规则。
  • 优化浅色界面与浮栏单色图标清晰度，修正“登录时启动”的本地化显示。

安装说明

下载 Floe.zip 解压，或打开 Floe.dmg，将 Floe.app 放入“应用程序”。支持 macOS 14 及以上，同时包含 Apple Silicon 与 Intel 架构。校验值见 SHA256SUMS.txt。

应用采用临时签名，尚未公证。若首次启动被 macOS 阻止，可执行上方的 xattr 命令后重新打开。在“系统设置 → 隐私与安全性”中授予 Floe 辅助功能与屏幕录制权限；更新后若功能不可用，请重新检查授权。当前通过 Release 手动更新。
