Codex now preserves agent assignments, messages, and completion reports through automatic compaction. Previous sessions and shared handoffs restore from the correct source paths, with overlapping sessions excluded.

Validation: 39 restore parity checks pass. The same checks detect 19 failures in the previous release. Existing restore, adapter, usage, and marketplace parity gates pass. Automatic compaction was also verified in the installed Codex engine with an isolated local mock provider.
