v1.1.1
Free Router 1.1.0
Free Router 1.1.0
This release makes multi-account routing reliable while reducing the amount of configuration required from users. Add provider keys, choose a route when needed, and let Free Router handle discovery, rotation, cooldowns, and fallback automatically.
Highlights
- Configure multiple API keys per provider from the UI or with plural environment variables.
- Paste comma-separated keys such as
key1,key2,key3; requests rotate across them automatically. - Key-aware fallback for authentication errors, rate limits, timeouts, server failures, and catalog refreshes.
- Per-key cooldowns prevent one limited account from blocking the other keys on the same provider.
- A 401 retires only the affected key; zero-balance responses exclude a model only after all usable keys fail.
- Layered configuration keeps tracked defaults in
config.jsonand local overrides inconfig.local.json. - Runtime UI localization for 12 languages, plus updated Simplified Chinese documentation.
- A streamlined three-tab UI: Providers, Routes, and Status.
- Route entries now display explicit
provider:modelidentifiers and correctly recognize:freemodel suffixes. - More reliable start and stop scripts recover missing PID files, prevent duplicate instances, and force shutdown after a graceful timeout.
Behavior changes
- LAN access, gateway Bearer-key management, admin passwords, and login sessions have been removed.
- The web interface is intended for local loopback use.
- Quota, discovery, server tuning, and custom-provider editors are no longer shown in the UI. Their backend and configuration-file capabilities remain available.
- The Status page focuses on endpoint readiness and route priority; detailed usage configuration is no longer exposed there.
