New features
-
Draw Links — a new mode for manually drawing strong and weak links between candidates. Click one candidate, then another, to sketch a curved link (STRONG = double curve, WEAK = single curve).
Xtoggles strong/weak while in link mode,Lclears all links, and re-clicking a link's two endpoints deletes it. Links are session-only (not saved to.hsolfiles or the undo/redo stack). This was one of the few features Bernhard Hobiger ("Hobiwan"), HoDoKu's original creator, was known to have considered adding but never got to before he passed away in 2014. This release finishes it, in his memory.
Fixes
- Ctrl+click in Draw Links mode now passes through to the default candidate-toggle behavior instead of being treated as a link endpoint.
UI default changes
- "Use '0' in clipboard" now defaults to checked.
- View menu defaults to the Active Cell view.
- Default window size is now 1000x1000, with the grid/Hints divider rebalanced so the grid area is larger.
