zisla v0.1.3 Preview

Highlights

  • Brings 13 configurable top-island modules together for media, files, clipboard, AI activity, downloads, agenda, mail, notes, PDF tools, system controls, battery details, and lock-screen workflows.
  • Improves battery and system monitoring with health, power, Bluetooth, trusted Apple-device, memory, CPU, and per-fan metrics.
  • Strengthens voice input with reliable transcript delivery, recording playback and history, optional retention, cleanup, and usage statistics.
  • Streamlines AI workflows around privacy-conscious activity monitoring, zislactl, CLI and Skills management, while removing the legacy built-in Agent chat and project surfaces.
  • Refines shelf and clipboard interactions, browser download progress, focus notices, settings navigation, multi-display behavior, compact island presentation, and localization.

Compatibility

  • Requires macOS 14 or later.
  • Includes separate arm64, x86_64, and universal packages.
  • Packaging, ad-hoc signature, architecture, checksum, and DMG layout were validated on macOS 27.0. Runtime behavior was not re-tested on every supported macOS release or hardware model.

Installation and distribution

  • Quit every running zisla process before installation. Open the DMG, then drag zisla.app to Applications and replace the previous copy.
  • These packages use a free anonymous ad-hoc signature and are not notarized. They contain no personal signing identity or Apple Team ID. On first launch, macOS may require System Settings > Privacy & Security > Open Anyway. Replacing an ad-hoc build may require granting system permissions again.
  • WeatherKit is unavailable in this free build; China Weather alerts remain available in mainland China.
  • The in-app updater only downloads the selected DMG. It never mounts, installs, replaces, restarts, or downgrades the app automatically.
