@xparq xparq released this 13 Aug 18:38

Notable changes:

  • Fixed regression #2: file not found if .cmd/.bat/.com is omitted.
  • C++20 is required to compile now.
  • Compiled with NDEBUG in release mode (to remove the assert() calls).

2.2.3: Also shipping as 32-bit binary (UPX'ed: ~100K)

@xparq xparq released this 12 Aug 22:28

Previous releases only had the 64-bit version pre-built.
For easier handling, wtime now reports which build it is.

2.2.2: More units, better outputs, retval fix, better internals

@xparq xparq released this 12 Aug 21:58

Notable changes:

  • More units: "s" (default), "seconds", "ms", "milliseconds", "m", "min", "minutes"
    (Changing it still needs recompilation, though.)
  • Prints everything (incl. the results) to stderr by default.
  • Prints the elapsed time also for the help text, for reference (and for fun).
  • Fix: missing error return from main
  • Args upgraded to 1.2.2.
  • More flexible architecture: a proper timer class, command line builder; etc.

2.0.0 - Complete overhaul, after 25 years...

@xparq xparq released this 12 Aug 13:11

Notable changes:

  • It finally preserves the quotes around parameters with spaces.
  • Shows the result in seconds by default (instead of ms, as, unfortunately, it's a much more relatable unit for my main use case: C++ compilation...).
    (The default can only be changed by recompilation for now.)

Just preserving a pre-git .exe that's 15K UPXed! :)

It still runs happily even today! :) (Albeit it thinks its name is still wintiming...)
Alas, it didn't have the important feature of quoting args with spaces.
