Inspectrax v1.1.0 adds the Common App Installer, a curated and safety-focused Winget experience for technicians and everyday users.

Common App Installer

  • 20 reviewed official-publisher apps across Browsers, Communication, Media, Utilities, Developer, and Gaming
  • Search and category filtering
  • Installed-app detection and disabled Installed buttons
  • Exact package ID, publisher, official website, and Winget source shown before installation
  • Visible installing, verified, restart-required, cancelled, and failed result states
  • Post-install exact-ID verification with captured Winget output

Safety model

  • Fixed Inspectrax allowlist; search cannot execute arbitrary package IDs
  • Every command pins --exact --source winget
  • Trusted Microsoft-hosted Winget endpoint and source identifier are checked before enabling installs
  • Installs run sequentially and require explicit confirmation
  • No --force, hash bypass, custom arguments, automatic reboot, or local manifests
  • “Official publisher” identifies Dantrix-reviewed package identity and vendor; Winget community-catalog inclusion alone is not represented as publisher endorsement

Install

  1. Download Inspectrax-v1.1.0-win-x64.zip.
  2. Extract the complete folder.
  3. Run Inspectrax.App.exe on 64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 11.
  4. Windows App Installer/Winget is required for the Common App Installer feature.

This package is self-contained; installing the .NET runtime is not required. Inspectrax is currently unsigned, so Windows SmartScreen may request confirmation.
