SPDFV 0.1.3 expands the native macOS PDF workspace with deeper verification, repair, form-data, comparison, and automation workflows.

Highlights:

  • Compare v2 with intelligent page alignment, configurable appearance tolerance, ignored regions, overlay and heatmap views, and privacy-conscious JSON reports
  • Document Doctor repair copies with previewed OCR, form normalization, metadata cleanup, and before/after verification
  • Form Data Studio plus CSV/TSV batch generation with reusable mappings, filename templates, and all-rows preflight
  • Cryptographic PDF signature verification with ByteRange integrity, certificate and timestamp details, macOS trust evaluation, and later-revision detection
  • Recipe v3 parameters, variables, conditional branches, named inputs, Compare/Doctor assertions, safe output templates, and batch execution
  • Expanded accessibility coverage, compatibility fixtures, native/CLI/UI tests, and unified release-grade validation

Requirements: macOS 14 or later.

SPDFV remains pre-release software. Keep an original copy of important PDFs, particularly when editing forms, redactions, page structure, encrypted documents, or signed documents.
