Summary

OpenProxy v2.11.0 introduces a new forward provider type for transparent request proxying without authentication modification.

New Features

  • Forward provider type: Added a new forward provider type that transparently forwards requests without any authentication handling:
    • No proxy-side authentication (bypasses global auth_keys)
    • No upstream auth injection (forwards client Authorization header as-is)
    • Supports health_check_config for consistency with other providers
    • Enables use cases where the proxy should act as a pure passthrough without modifying authentication headers
