agent-memory digest — Deterministic SHA-256 Merkle root. Computes a canonical, cross-platform deterministic Merkle root across all active durable memory files (conventions.md, decisions.md, index.md, pitfalls.md, and modules/*.md). Excludes ephemeral state (staging/, local/, sessions/, archive/, meta/).
CRLF Invariance: Normalizes \r\n to \n before hashing, guaranteeing identical Merkle roots across Windows, macOS, and Linux checkouts.
Pairwise Merkle Construction: Builds a canonical binary SHA-256 Merkle tree ($P_j = \text{sha256}(L_{2j} \mathbin{\Vert} L_{2j+1})$) matching Swarm consensus and VTP-1 task verification standards.
CLI Flags: --verify <sha256> (asserts state and exits 0 on match, non-zero on mismatch) and --json (emits agent_memory_digest/1 structured JSON).
VTP-1 Protocol Integration: Allows autonomous agents executing verifiable tasks to bind cryptographic memory receipts (memory_digest=<sha256_root>) into settlement payloads.
