Releases: xRopers/wfscan
Release list
wfscan v0.1.0
First release of wfscan: browse Warframe's Cache.Windows and export its textures, models and sounds to standard formats, from the command line or a desktop app. A ground-up Rust replacement for Warframe-Exporter, and a sibling of zscan, texscan and audscan. It only reads the cache, and includes no game data.
Download
wfscan-v0.1.0-windows-x64.zip (Windows x64) contains:
wfscan.exe, the command linewfscan-gui.exe, the desktop appREADME.md(with screenshots indocs/images/) andLICENSElicenses/: the libvorbis notice for the Vorbis header sets built into both programs
No installer and no runtime to install: the C runtime is linked in. You need an Oodle library of your own (oo2core_*.dll, from another game you own): Warframe's cache is compressed with it and wfscan doesn't include it. See the README.

What it does
Measured on the September 2026 cache (446,923 files):
- Textures: 128,668 of 129,645 as DDS (exact, every mip, face and layer) or PNG.
- Sounds: all 88,780 as Ogg Vorbis, Ogg Opus or WAV without re-encoding, or decoded to WAV. That includes the Vorbis sounds that are more than half the game's audio; no game executable is needed.
- Models: 50,753 of 57,698 as binary glTF, with skeletons and skin weights. No normals yet, and materials are names only.
- Desktop app: every file as a sortable list or a folder tree, texture, model and sound previews, a sound player, hex and text views.
- Manifest: incremental exports,
diffbetween game updates, and areportof what exported and what didn't, with reasons.
Not yet: materials, levels, shaders, animations. A few 44.1 kHz Vorbis sounds may export as noise (see the README).
