A tidier right-click menu

• The menu is down from about 30 items to 9: Timers & reminders, Tools, Play, Dev tools, a Quiet mode switch, Settings…, Move into menu bar / Let Clawd out, and Quit.
• It only shows what's relevant: Stop timer appears while a timer runs, Dance and Climb a window are hidden while he's docked, and Undo last organise only shows when there's something to undo.
• Three status lines became one.

New: Settings window

Right-click him, then Settings…. Every switch now lives in one window, in tabs (General, Alerts, Fun & look, Shortcuts), and each shows whether it's on or off. Includes launch at login, sounds, quiet mode, update checks, all his alerts, outfit and weather city.

Fixes

• He no longer drops out of the menu bar on his own. Two causes fixed: alerts used to pop him out to deliver their message (they now appear as a bubble under his icon, and there's an opt-in Pop out of the menu bar for alerts setting), and a faulty "is my icon hidden?" check could throw him out at launch even when his icon was perfectly visible.

• Drag him out of the menu bar. Press and drag his icon to pick him up and carry him down to your desktop. A plain click or right-click still opens his menu.

• Physics ball. Turn it on in Clawd's menu and he curls into a ball you can grab and throw. He has gravity, bounces off the screen edges and the tops of your windows, rolls and spins, and looks at your cursor when he settles. Double-click to unroll.
• Basketball. A hoop appears on the edge of your screen; throw him through it. Farther shots score more (layup 1, mid-range 2, long range 3, downtown 4) and a clean swish is +1. 60 seconds, best score saved.
• Shrink now compresses every image type. JPEG and HEIC are re-encoded at the best quality that actually saves space; flat PNGs get an exact 256-colour palette (about 80% smaller); photos become JPEGs when that's far smaller; transparent PNGs keep their transparency; TIFF, BMP, GIF and WebP convert to whatever is smallest. Big images are scaled to 2560px.

• Clawd stands still while one of his menus is open, so you can actually aim at it.
• The Features menu now shows a tick for what's on, and confirms each change.

• Claude Code alerts. One click installs a Notification hook (with a backup of your settings) so Clawd waves and bounces when Claude Code needs you. Also Clawd --needs-you.
• Dev tools. GitHub dashboard (recent repos, CI status dots, open PRs, review requests; uses gh), Git buddy for local repos, and a port watcher that tells you when your dev server goes down.
• Weather + day/night. Set a city and he wears an umbrella, shades, a scarf or snow. Nightcap and twinkling stars after 9pm, bedtime nudges, good-morning greetings.

• Weird moods. Rare events: builds a fort on a window, peek-a-boo from the screen edge, sneezes, ghost mode.

• Folder organiser. Drop Clawd on a Finder window (or drag a folder onto him and pick ✨) and click Organise. He tosses every loose file into Images, Documents, Audio, Videos… bins with animations. Careful by design (never touches subfolders, hidden or half-downloaded files, code projects or system folders) and Undo last organise is in his menu. Also: Clawd --organize ~/Downloads.
• Links → MP3/MP4. Drag a YouTube or Spotify track link onto him and choose MP3 or MP4. Needs brew install yt-dlp ffmpeg (he'll copy the command for you). Only download things you have the right to keep.
• The drop tray now adapts to what you drag (files, folders, links).

The first time you organise from a Finder window, macOS asks whether Clawd may control Finder.
