What's New

Performance

  • Replace execFileSync with async execFile — server no longer blocks on CLI calls
  • All CLI calls (sessions, cron, insights, status) run in parallel via Promise.all
  • New shell() utility for consistent async execution
  • Broadcast interval reduced from 3s to 5s

Code Quality

  • YAML config parsing with js-yaml (replaces fragile regex)
  • Fixed config parsing to match actual config.yaml structure (model.default, alternate_models)
  • Fixed const → let for hermesAllSessionsCache

UI

  • Remove Background Processes panel (no real data source available from Hermes CLI)

Bug Fixes

  • Layout save: invalid CSRF token → now sends X-CSRF-Token header
  • Model pill: showing "unknown" → now reads correct model.default from config
  • Server crash: Assignment to constant variable → fixed with let
